SSHA One Day Conference

Dear member,
 
As you know SSHA postponed this years two day conference. When we announced this, we asked for some feedback. There was a common thread in the replies that we received;
 
 
1)     Finances in the climate
2)     Childcare costs
3)     Unable to get time back because some members are on locum cover and working extra hours is frozen. 
4)     Location; flight tickets where to expensive
 

(A big ‘thank you’ to those members who emailed us their feedback and who were genuinely disappointed about the postponement.)

 
SSHA have decided to hold a 1 day event for Sexual Health Advisers around the theme of PN and will hopefully include some of the recent MI work. This event will be held in London in October.
 
We realise this will not replace conference and we hope to hold another event if this is successful.
 
We have some interest in presenting but would welcome some short presentations around the themes of

• Highlighting innovative and proactive approaches to PN
• Sharing good practice PN
• The barriers to effective PN in a changing sexual health landscape
