Welcome Home
The year of the Metal Tiger began on February 14, 2010 and on the seventeenth, signified the beginning of lent. Both of these events give you an opportunity to make changes in your life.
The Year of the Tiger and lent both provide an opportunity to go inside yourself and push through old beliefs, old patterns, unmasking the false self. The false self being the mask you wear to gain acceptance and approval from others.
Lent is a time of reflection and spiritual solitude in seeking a greater understanding of yourself. what part of you needs to die and what part needs to rise up and find its voice, it's breath. The Tiger is a passionate energy that assists you in pushing through the obstacles that may be in front of you. It's an energy that awakens passion, as well as, the creative fire inside of you. A fire that has the ability to move mountains. Every encounter in life offers you the chance to reveal your whole self. When the false self cracks, you are in crisis. This crisis is not to be adverted, no, this crisis is letting you know, "Danger, Danger, Bill Robinson" you can no longer function in the old way, and the old way begins to break down. It doesn't work anymore. Facing the pain head on hurts. Emotions come up, you feel them and it hurts. However, if you can work your way through the pain and let the mask come off, the breakdown is transformed into a breakthrough and your true essence rises up from the ashes. When you allow the mask to come off, you allow yourself the freedom to choose your own life, not the life someone else had designed for you. You begin to see yourself in a different light. You begin to see the truth of who you are staring you straight in the face. The divine essence of you, and you look at yourself straight in the eye and say, "Hello Gorgeous, Welcome Home!" When facing the false self straight on, it is important to take the time you need. You are not alone on this journey. I am here to assist and support you. Plant Wisdom of Yarrow
Yarrow is known in many cultures as an ally to relieve pain and heal wounds. In fact, the Greek soldiers and Native American people to heal battle wounds used Yarrow. The stalks were used by the Chinese to cast the I Ching and many Native American tribes use Yarrow to relieve pain.
Yarrow offers help to anyone who asks. Connect with Yarrow when you are feeling under attack, she will shield you and strengthen your aura. She can assist you in opening up and letting go.
Yarrow reminds us that it is our responsibility to heal thyself. In order to heal the wound, you must fir acknowledge you are wounded. The battle wounds of the spirit can be nurtured and healed by Yarrow. She helps you mend a broken spirit. When you feel the battle of life has become too great, call upon the plant spirit of Yarrow. She tends to your wounds by helping you see what the wounds represent and why it is necessary to tend to the pain. Yarrow helps you through the dark times, by bringing balance and understanding to the situation. When life is draining the life out of you, she is the tourniquet. She is supportive and strong. Yarrow helps you release negativity and open your heart to receive the newness of life. She helps you remember to love life, love people and most importantly, love yourself. This newfound awareness can assist you in attracting to you that which you desire.
So when you have fallen and cannot get up, when the wounds seem so deep and your spirit is tired, call upon the spirit of Yarrow. She will be the hand to help you up, the salve to heal the wounds and the warm embrace giving you the courage to reclaim yourself and bring the smile back to your spirit.

Consciously Creating a Wonderful World!
The Consciously Creating a Wonderful World campaign was inspired by the recent events in Haiti. It's mission is to create community, compassion and understanding in our wonderful world and falls in line with the belief we are all one with one another and the planet. How we do that involves mind, body and spirit.
With our minds we create our lives, we decide what we believe and who and what we want to support. With our bodies we volunteer or do what we can to be responsible custodians of the earth. With our Spirit, we acknowledge our oneness and send love, light and blessings to those in need through our prayers and intentions. Whether you give money or time or prayers, or even a smile to another hu, it validates the one reality and in turn validates you, because you always get what you give. It is a universal law and it is powerful.
At Consciously Creating with Laura and Kelly, we have dubbed Tuesday, as Give Back with Gratitude Tuesday's. My co-host, Kelly Whetstone and myself has pledged to donate 10% of out Tuesday earnings on 12Angel and 12Listen to the the non-profit organization we highlight for the month. This month we are highlighting Habitat for Humanity, an organization that helps rebuild lives and create community with each person who volunteers. So join us every Tuesday for Giving Back with Gratitude Tuesday and together we can make a difference.
