NOLAlicious Forward to a Friend

February 17 to 22, 2010

Dear Friends,

Nothing, not even the unseasonably cold weather, has been able to dampen the spirits of New Orleans this past week as the mayoral elections, the Super Bowl, and the resulting celebrations rolled into Mardi Gras. Yesterday, all of New Orleans was out in the streets, celebrating Fat Tuesday, enjoying old and new traditions. We spent this past week doing the same as everyone else: watching parades, eating great food and simply enjoying the company of friends. Thank you, our friends, for patiently answering our questions and helping us understand the the history, traditions and culture of Mardi Gras. Looking to this upcoming week, we're curious: does New Orleans rest the week after Mardi Gras? By our look at events coming up this week, not really.

Yours in Mardi Gras recovery,
Carl, Taylor and Sloane
