Hello Everyone,

We are about a month away from BarCamp Conway, so I thought it would be a good time to reach out to everyone who has registered and give you guys an update.

First up, we have moved the venue location. We were initially going to have the event at the Conway Chamber of Commerce, but since we've received so much interested, we've had to look for an alternative location. The new venue for the event is at the UCA College of Business. The College just opened the doors of their new building, and they were kind enough to allow us to use their new state-of-the-art auditorium. It's a beautiful space and will accommodate us nicely.

Secondly, we need presentations. I know that not all of you feel comfortable presenting, but in the BarCamp spirit, it is our duty to encourage everyone to share their expertise. This event is meant to build community and educate. We all have something to contribute - whether it be web-related, or not - that attendees might find interesting to hear about. While presenting is not required, it is encouraged.

Lastly, if you have signed up to present, it's a good time to start preparing your presentation. We will have access to A/V equipment, so if you decide to create a Keynote/PowerPoint presentation, you won't have any issues getting it seen. We'll send out another email about two weeks before the event to remind you again.

This is going to be an awesome experience for everyone involved, so please encourage your friends to join us.
