Given your existing connection with Meerkatalyst we wanted to give you an update on our progress. As some of you are aware, Meerkatalyst were lucky enough to be part of the Springboard startup accelerator in Cambridge. While we loved the concept of solving .Net deployments, Springboard shifted our attention onto something we’re really excited about - Mayday.
Mayday ( http://www.maydayhq.com) monitors users engagement, interactions and client details to ensure they are always receiving the best experience possible from your website.
We alert companies to problems users experience such as downtime, client-side errors or application bugs that causes a change in behaviour, enabling you to fix issues before users complain. We are engaging with a small number of early adopters and will continue to release invites to a wider audience over the next few months. You can see an early demo at http://app.maydayhq.com/demo
But what does this mean for .Net deployments?
-
Paul Stovell is currently working on Octopus (http://www.paulstovell.com/octopus/intro) as an automated deployment solution for .NET applications, powered by NuGet and designed for convention over configuration.
-
There is also the amazing AppHarbor (https://appharbor.com/), a .NET Platform-as-a-Service which I highly recommend you try.
In the meantime, I would love to talk with you about Mayday, Meerkatalyst or just startup life in general. If you have any questions or comments then I’m always available on twitter at @Ben_Hall or skype at Ben.Halluk.
Thank you
Ben Hall
