Friends,
it's time for something different!
Downtown Together has been meeting now regularly for almost 2 years. We came together at the heights of the isthmus argument and created a free-flowing dialogue without agenda that allowed us community members to look past our political stances, learn from each other and gain knowledge and faith in our community.
The folks that drive H2Olympia met at Downtown Together and saved the well.
We were encouraged to organize 'A Table for Olympia' and Craft x NW.
Thank you each and every one of you who took the time to come to one, or many of our meetings.
But, it's time to do something different. I will not organize regular meetings anymore as of this week.
And am refocusing my attention to building communication and creating resources on Everyday Olympia.
I've had this on my mind for a bit now, and the summer is a great time to announce this as it's anyway better to sit in the sun, or under the marine cloud cover... whatever ;-)
But! Onwards!
I will be using this email newsletter going forward as a weekly summary of what is happening in the Downtown Neighborhood.
Past blog posts that you might've missed on Everyday Olympia and upcoming events you certainly cannot miss.
So, expect later this week from me another emai, which will be the first offical Everyday Olympia Newsletter.
