December begins the semi-annual school concert series. IMADA's 2009-2010 program book is hot off the press and available at all IPAC concerts and theatrical performances throughout the year. Don't forget to pick up your free copy and enjoy the photos of our fine arts students, faculty biographies, descriptions of the arts curriculum, and sponsorship notes for area businesses.

Remembering Robin Silverman IMADA mourns the loss of one of its mentors and members, Robin Silverman. She was a wonderful artist and inspiration — instituting our now annual fundraiser, Art for the Arts! Robin's energy, creativity, and calm enthusiasm will be missed but her spirit and body of work will live on.

Business Meetings IMADA's monthly business meeting will be held this Tuesday. Below are links to this meeting's agenda and November minutes. Please print them. The cost is $10 each which covers the cost of production and a $6 donation to IMADA. Download order form Concert Closet In preparation for the December concerts, the Concert Closet will be located in the IPAC lobby from Tuesday, December 1st through Tuesday, December 8th. Take whatever you need and drop off clean, outgrown concert clothing and shoes. Please hang up your donations. Remember, you do not need to contribute in order to take any of the clothing or shoes. This involves visiting each of the four schools once a month to pick up donated clothing, hanging the clothing on the rack, and wheeling the closet out to the IPAC lobby and back prior to the seasonal concerts (three or four times a school year). Thank you to New England BioLabs for providing a grant enabling IMADA to purchase a second iMac to be used jointly by the High School’s film making class and electronic music class. We will outfit it with state-of-the-art film editing software and music composition software. Both courses are extremely popular and IMADA is happy to help provide the necessary tools.
