Fresh snow across the Alps
The picture above is from the Les Gets webcam at 4pm French time this afternoon (1st December), stunning!
Snow started falling on Sunday night (as our drivers arrived in resort with a heavily laden Land Rover) and hasn't let up much since. Les Gets should see a few more showers today with more substantial top ups due from Thursday going through the weekend. Just as importantly it's staying cold. Reberty Village in the 3 Valleys looks set to follow a similar pattern, although snowfall will probably be a little heavier and it's around four degrees colder at the moment. The start of the season is looking good and I'm going to be heading out to France the day after tomorrow to check things out for myself (all hard work, promise!). I hope to be able to update the Ski Famille blog with first hand reports of snow conditions plus pictures from resort over the next fortnight.
