We're Going to the Tennessee Valley Fair:
It's been a while since our last play date, so we thought we'd do something extra special! Join us at the Tennessee Valley Fair on Monday September 13. We'll be meeting at the Picnic Shelter next to the Tennessee Valley Fair Office at 11am and we'll be given a guided tour of the brand new exhibit areas.
Cow Town USA - kids will get to help milk a cow, make cheese, butter or even ice cream. We'll get to help grind feed for the animals too.
Ag Pathway - it’s full of hands-on exhibits. Watch different crops grow, milk a wooden cow with udders (for those that are scared of the real thing), let the kids color in at the kids table or try their luck with a bean bag toss. Kids receive free admission and we will be sure to let you know of any additional money-saving coupons too.

Thursday September 2
Books and Blooms at the UT Gardens. (10am)
Make a time capsule for baby's keepsakes during Michael's Arts and Crafts Baby Week. (6pm)
Friday September 3
Make a Fireman's Hat at Smart Toys and Books Mommy and Me Art Class. (10am, 11am or 12pm classes - RSVP essential).
Saturday September 4
Build a football display at Home Depot's Kids Workshop (9am)
Stroller Strides Family Class and Itsy Bitsy Yoga Demo (9.30am)
Big Brother/Big Sister Welcome Canvas at Michael's Arts and Crafts Baby Week. (1pm)
Sunday September 5
Boomsday on Neyland Drive (1pm - Fireworks start around 9.30pm)
Monday September 6
Happy Labor Day!
Sevier County Fair (4.30pm)
Tuesday September 7
Falling into Fall Children's Story Theatre session starts. Preschool drama classes presented by Creative Seed Studio at Smart Toys and Books. (11am, 10 week session)
Market Square Play Date presented by Knox County Library (6.30pm).
Wednesday September 8
Things That Go is the theme at Mornings with Mommy at Sherpherd of the Hills. (10am)
