Help for Speakers Tip of the Week
Overcoming nerves

It's the holiday season, and the wedding season, and end of year speeches and toasts are being made.

A drunk speaker, can sometimes provide entertainment, but can also ruin an event, a reputation and relationships.  If you don't want people to be laughing at you, not with you, then stay away from the alcohol before speaking.

If you need help, then try Bach's Rescue Remedy instead

It comes in pastilles you can chew or a small bottle with an eyedropper.  You only need a few drops, either directly on the tongue or into a glass of room temperature or warm water.

It's available from most pharmacies or online and helps with the nerves, without bringing on the lack of inhibition that leads to swearing, slurring and performance impairment that alcohol can.
