Help for Speakers Tip of the Week

When your throat is sore suck a manuka honey drop

This week's tip is short and sweet.

Elizabeth O'Connor is a voice coach and I've worked with her in the past to improve my vocal power, and strength. 

Elizabeth's advice to me, when I have to speak but have a sore throat, is to avoid many over-the-counter throat lozenges, which can strip the throat of its mucus lining, and instead suck on a manuka honey drop, or (for a dry/coughy throat) a small lolly, or peppermint.
