Rents and Home Prices Fall back to September Levels
In this 8th issue of the AllAgents Report, we continue to witness divergence in the rental and sale prices of Villas and Apartments. We see a continued dip in apartment prices (for both rental and sale), while villa prices moved a tick upwards. We received feedback from some of our readers who disagree with our conclusions, citing real estate reports from other sources such as the WSJ (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125723890596024879.html). We think it is important to stress the difference between our reports, and those of the media. AllAgents Reports are generated using the latest offer prices on the market, on a weekly basis. Other reports tend to use quarterly historical deal prices in their calculations. Prices in the report are sourced from all available public listings and also from agencies and owners directly, and reflects in a transparent fashion the real price of real estate in Dubai.
