This is an excellent time for members to join the Chamber of Commerce
Energy Purchasing Co-op program to seek electricity and natural gas supply services for your commercial electricity and/or natural gas accounts. Electricity and natural gas rates are at record lows and this is the time to lock your supply services into a contract.
Members who have not yet joined the cooperative are invited to join the Frederick County Chamber Energy Co-op to reduce energy costs.
The Chamber invites businesses of any size to join the Chamber energy purchasing cooperative to increase your purchasing power in procuring electricity and natural gas at the most competitive rates for budget stability and savings. Chamber Members in the program receive better pricing than they can individually. In addition, the program also saves individual Members the time and expense of trying to choose a supplier on their own.
The application fee is $150.00 – this covers all of your electricity and natural gas accounts for all locations.
The Frederick County Chamber is holding a free information meeting that will fully explain the benefits of the energy co-op on the following date:

The webinars are free, but advance registration is required. Visit the
CQI Associates website and click on the date that you want to participate, then follow the steps to RSVP.
To enroll in the Frederick County Chamber Commercial Energy Co-op you must fill out the attached Letter of Authorization. Included with the Letter of Authorization please attach the most recent bill/s for each account/s you plan to enroll as well as a copy of your current contract if you are in a third party contract (if applicable).

Obtain a full copy of your most recent utility bill/s for each account/s

Obtain a copy of your previous contract (if applicable)

Provide a check for $150 made out to the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce
