Special note for Collectors
For those of you who have visited my website, you will notice that I have included the opportunity to register with me, so that I can reconnect with my valued collectors. Through various computer crashes etc, I have lost my records, and I would love to reconnect with you. Registering as a collector will allow you to check in with me regarding the current value of your original investment. In recognition of your support for me, I also offer “specials” for existing collectors, which would qualify you for these if you are interested. I can also let you know what is new, and invite you to upcoming exhibitions. Register here.
Small Fries
As I believe in and want to make it possible for every admirer to own a Sharon Wilson original, I have created a special new line of little jewels which I call my “small fries”. It is an affordable way to segway into the world of collecting original fine art. It is also a wonderful gift for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or christenings. I encourage registries for gifts. I believe that it is wiser to invest in a small original, than to invest in open edition prints and the cost of framing and reframing as prints fade over time. Prices range from $475 up. You will see photographs of a couple of my “small fries” in this newsletter.
Meet the Artist Nights
I have remodelled and expanded my gallery and am hosting evenings for small groups. I love to dialogue with my audience, so please phone for an appointment to come and visit with me, drink tea, or wine, see recent works and let me tell you about how I see myself as the artist in today’s society.
Upcoming Exhibition
The Sharon Wilson School of Art Annual Show "Just Pastels" show titled “Neighbourhoods” opens on 27th September 2009 at the Bermuda Arts Center at Dockyard (just across from the entrance to the Bermuda Maritime Museum) at 5.30p.m. and runs until 30th October 2009. Please do visit and let me have your feedback. There will be lots of small pieces in this exhibition, which are great buys for Christmas, birthdays, Thanksgiving and special days.
