The Downtown District, in partnership with METRO, announces a design competition of the new transfer station, to be called Central Station, on Main Street between Capitol and Rusk.
Top design firms from around the country were invited to participate in the competition and a distinguished panel comprised of local and national design leaders will select the winning entry with public consideration. The public is invited to view the design submissions and submit their comments at the JPMorgan Chase Bank Building at 712 Main and at METRO Headquarters at 1900 Main from Thursday, January 26 through Friday, January 10.
