ELLA Swing Dance Club continues to host a weekly drop-in lesson and dance every Wednesday night at Agate Hall. Come early and learn some new moves and skills. Then, stick around and practice to DJed music.

Corvallis Swing Dance

Saturday, February 19 join the Corvallis Swing Dance Society for an evening of swing and blues in downtown Corvallis.
Special guests Geoff and Binky from Portland’s Syncopated Rhythms will be teaching an introductory lesson and DJing swing for the evening.
At 10pm, the music will flow from swing to blues, with Dustin and Erik from OSU Blues DJing into the night. People will be dressing up for the occasion; the room setup will be similar to their live music events with tables for seating, low lights and cozy atmosphere.

Blue Skies Big Band
Sunday, February 20, Eugene Eagles Lodge
Blue Skies Big Band, plays a swing era big band dance/concert at the Eugene Eagles Lodge in north Eugene.
Featuring hits and some obscure nuggets from such great band leaders as Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, the Dorsey Brothers, Harry James, Les Brown, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and of course, the immortal Count Basie.
Oregon Dixieland Jubilee
February 25–27, Seaside, OR
The Oregon Dixieland Jubilee features dixieland, ragtime, traditional jazz and swing bands all weekend long in five different venues. Enjoy bands like Titan Hot Seven and Black Swan. Many dancers travel from Vancouver, BC, Seattle and Portland for this awesome weekend of music. Set aside some time to check it out.
