Will Duke here from the studio at SoundOps. I'm sending this email to a few people on our newsletter list because we need some music for our next promotional video...
I'd like to use one of your songs if it fits, and give you a hundred bucks toward your next mastering project.
So here's the deal, we don't have much time, because the video is for a new mastering service we're about to launch. I can't tell you about it yet, but it's gonna be cool.

So back to the video stuff...we need a song or two to use during the whole video, and I thought it would be cool to get some of our clients and readers the chance to have their music included.
If you have a song that you wouldn't mind being in our launch video, let me know.
Look in your stash of mixes, and send us your #1 track - the one you think represents your best work, and if we choose it for the soundtrack, we'll master a song for you for free (a $99 value)! Plus, you'll get your song, and a little plug for your website in a video that thousands of people are going to be watching very soon :)

If we decide to use your audio, we can either master the track you send, or a different one. It's up to you.
We will pick our favorites next Monday.
If you have any questions about the contest, just shoot me an email. If you have already had a song mastered @ SoundOps that you'd like to be in the running, we will need your permission (via email) by Monday.

The video will be placed on a new website to help potential subscribers learn about our new low-cost subscription mastering service. These pictures are from the video interview we did for it. John and I were just answering questions on the fly... It was fun :)
You'll be the first to know when it's all live (even if your song isn't in the final video). We appreciate your support, and look forward to hearing (and mastering) more of your music soon.
