Dear <<First Name>>, Today, the Island of Long Beach continued to engage Norwegian Cruise Line in our latest offer of more than $3.5 million dollars to purchase the S.S. United States. Although we do not yet know if our offer has been accepted or considered, we remain hopeful in moving forward in trying to save the preserve the Fastest Ship in the World. As many of you know, Norwegian has given until the end of today’s business day to receive offers of the ship, even accepting offers to scrap the ship. We are making every effort to do what we can to save the S.S. United States, even if our offer is not accepted, we will engage the new owners and do everything in our power to ensure this majestic ship does not meet its end. I would personally like to thank you for your continued support in helping us do the impossible. The Island of Long Beach is committed in the preservation of history, to continue its journey and reintroduce a new generation to the grandeur and splendor of what Ocean travels once was, and will continue again. I will continue to keep you up to date on our progress, I am hopeful on our end result and in you being a part of this magnificent project.
