Green gathering hosts London Irish digital media community 

Prosperity, which has recently opened an office in London, co-hosted a successful ‘Green Gathering’ in London with Cybercom last week.
Both companies now have a presence in London, with Prosperity Digital’s new office located in the heart of London close to Regent Street.

Digital insights on resourcing social media 

Organisers of an upcoming digital media conference have deliberately kept prices as value-based as possible. The Irish Times Digital marketing conference, supported by the Irish Internet Association, takes place in the RDS on the afternoon of 14 October.
Irish Times Digital Revenue Manager Niall O’Connor who is organising the event explains that it will provide insight to people working in this area already. “The focus will be on the need to resource social media,” he says. Read more...

Intercom app presses the button for CRM  

A customer relationship management and messaging tool for web app owners which is currently in private beta is bringing web businesses closer to their customers.
The team behind Intercom is CEO Eoghan McCabe, COO Des Traynor, CTO Ciaran Lee and David Barrett, front end developer.

Could you build a website in 24 hours? 

Corporate sponsors and volunteers are currently being sought for the second 24 The Web website-building challenge for charity.
Taking place in Dublin on 29 October, as part of Design Week 2011, 24 The Web was devised to illustrate the importance of design, standards, content and process in developing a web site, in a fun and challenging way. Last year, websites were built for The Myasthenia Gravis Association, Hand in Hand and the Musical Youth Foundation.
