Following the rebranding of the site I have made a number of functional improvements to help you find and remember your favourite events.
Search

With 400/500 future event records on the system it can be quite hard to track down an event. Try our simple keyword search.
Category/Venue

Know the type of event you want or where's it's happening. Just look at our
category and
venue pages.
Date

I have improved the calendar so it is now possible to look at a listing for any month or any day. With 40 events already listed for December it is building up nicely...
Favourites

Once you have found an event, save it and you won't forget it. Our cookie based favourites section will be there to remind you of these events when you return to the site.
What's new?

If you want to keep an eye on
what's being added to the site you can do that too. Something is added most days.
Home page

Or perhaps you are just interested in now! The home page will always show details for the next 7 days.
How ever you use the site you should be able to find something of interest!
August
So what's happening in August.
At Groombridge Place this Sunday (1st) you can witness the highlife with Ferraris, Ducatis and Hot Air Balloons on display. Tie this in with a trip on the Spa Valley Railway and a great picnic and you have a memorable day to kick of the holiday season.
Apparantly theatres close down in August for refurbishment so the two key town centre venues are relatively quiet. But for children at the Assembly Hall there is a performance of Danger Mouse (15th) and for adults an Elvis tribute (14th) and the Blues Brothers stageshow (24th-28th). Also running from the 24th to the 28th Trinity has what should be an excellent Kentainers performance of the History Boys by Alan Bennett.
The Tunbridge Wells music scene remains strong throughout August. There is the excellent and always popular Jazz nights on the the Pantiles (every Thusday through August), the usual eclectic mix at the Forum and an ever growing list of artists at the Robin Hood. This all culminates on the bank holiday weekend when the Local & Live festival takes place on the Pantiles bandstand. This free festival highlights the great musical talent we have locally. Headlining the four evenings this year are: Logan Wilson, Origami Dinosaur, Dan Clews & Charlie Rivers.
As always there is too much to mention in a simple newsletter (138 events as I write), so have a look at the
August page and see what takes you fancy!
