Real Estate Manual Online
The Oregon Real Estate Manual (also known as the “blue book”)
is now online. It is the same information as the most recent version available in
print, but is now available as a PDF on the Agency’s web site. Interested persons
can read and print out the Manual without having to pay the Agency for
it. The Agency has stopped selling hard copies of the Manual and subscriptions
to the update service.
Placing the Manual online starts the transition to a completely online
version. The last paper update for those who have subscriptions for the 2007-2009
biennium will be sent this summer. The online Manual will be updated at
the same time.

Personal Mailing Addresses
Please remember that all brokers need to notify the Agency of any changes to personal
mailing addresses within 10 days of the change per OAR 863-014-0062. The Agency
is experiencing a large amount of mail returned for incorrect addresses. When a
licensee’s address is not up-to-date, it can result in a critical delay in receiving
mail from the Agency, including license renewal forms. It is important to note that
business mailing addresses are a separate record from licensee mailing addresses.
Contact the Licensing Division at 503-378-4170, selection 2, if you have questions.

Sending Duplicate Forms Not Necessary
If you renew your license online or FAX in a transfer form or exam application,
please do not send in the original paper copies. When this happens, it results in
multiple credit card charges and credits. If you have questions, contact the Licensing
Division at 503-378-4170, selection 2.
