Daniel Schwartz's work capturing the ancient allure of the old Silk Roads and modern-day realities from Xinjiang province to the Caspian Sea, via Afghanistan and is published in his recent book Travelling Through the Eye of History captures. Schwartz, who has travelled and documented the Central Asian republics since the early years of their independence from the Soviet Union, will be talking about his work and Central Asia with Steppe magazine associate editor Mitchell Albert.
