Next Meeting June 14, 2011
at Michael V’s 11:30am
Come Join Us!
This week: Susan Plank
You may think of the Y as a place to swim laps or sign your kids up for their first basketball team. While those would both be accurate, the YMCA is far more than a place to swim or a gym. The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, social responsibility and healthy living. This week, Susan Plank, CEO of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa will share how the YMCA is solving problems and addressing needs in Tulsa County.

A tornado ripped through Joplin, Missouri, USA, on 22 May, destroying a third of the city and killing more than 100 people. The tornado has been called the deadliest in U.S. history since the 1950s.
