Did you know?
• Each day at the Mission there are over 80 people who live in our low-income and affordable apartments.
• February we had 1,217 student hours in our Challenge Learning Program.
• Last month we distributed 6,065 clothing/items, and had a total of 8,336 volunteer hours serving the Mission.
• We serve three meals a day everyday at our Downtown Tacoma Campus and our Adams St. Family Campus. Last month we served a total of 22,537 meals.
• Our largest source of income comes from everyday people who have a passion to support the homeless of their community. We would not make it without individual donors.
• The Rescue Mission has about 60 employees, and an average of 40 interns.
• According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, family homelessness increased in Washington state by 9.17%, compared to 2.64% nationally.
