The Power of Crystals
Crystals have been on earth since its creation, and indeed, our earth is 85% crystal. From eight common elements - silicon, oxygen, aluminum, iron, calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium - come an amazing variety of crystal colors, shapes, sizes, structures, and hardness. All minerals are capable of forming crystals, revealing astounding atomic symmetry. Crystals have always been objects of beauty, fascination, and mystery.

Since the beginning of pre-recorded history, crystals have been used to heal and balance our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels of being. Some crystals contain minerals, such as copper, known for their therapeutic properties. Piezoelectric crystals, in which electricity and light is produced by compression, are used in ultrasound machines to produce a sound wave. Crystals heal holistically, working through resonance and vibration, to realign subtle energies and dissolve dis-ease. Vibrations rebalance the bio-magnetic sheath that surrounds the physical body as well as activate linkage points on the charkas of the body, bringing them back into balance.
Clear Quartz Crystal
Clear Quartz (also called Rock Crystal), is often called the “master healer” as it can be used for any condition, stimulating the immune system and bringing the body into balance. Its unique helical spiral crystalline form makes clear quartz the most powerful healing and energy amplifier on the planet. The coherence of this crystal strengthens all the energy systems of the body, bringing stability and calmness to the mind. Clear quartz absorbs, stores, releases, regulates and unblocks energy; it can also direct energy from one site to another.
“Quartz” is the generic term given to a large family of crystals composed of silicon dioxide, the commonest and most widespread mineral in the earth’s crust. Clear quartz is the purest variety of quartz, with the clarity, transparency and coolness of ice. It comes in a variety of structures or forms:
Crystal Formations
Single-Terminators: Also called single-point, these are long six-sided crystals that meet in a single natural point or termination. The other end is usually rough, where the crystal has broken away from its source. Large single-terminators with a wide base allowing them to stand are called generators. The direction of the terminated point indicates energy flow. A quartz point above the head and another between the feet creates a useful flow up or down the body. Points facing downwards have a grounding effect. Points turned upwards give a feeling and quality of expansion.
Double-terminators: With pointed terminations at both ends, these crystals both transmit and receive energy, and may be used to dissolve blockages in the body-earth.
Clusters: This formation consists of two or more singe-terminated crystals sharing a common base. These are highly evolved crystals that emit intensified healing and cleansing vibrations.
Tabular: These flattened columnar crystals in which two of the six sides are wider are used extensively for telepathic healing and communication, acting as transporters and transmuters of energy.
Rough, tumbled, and smooth polished crystals give a less directional, more diffuse effect that can be useful for gently infusing energy at one place.

Quartz has revolutionized the watch and clock industry. The atoms within micro-thin slices of synthetic quartz for watches and clocks vibrate at 32,768 times per second. As the atoms in the quartz vibrate they emit very precise electronic pulses.
