Save Richmond Beach
Please join us this Sunday to celebrate our legal victory and hear about what’s next

As you know, Save Richmond Beach and Woodway scored a major legal victory in November when Judge Dean Lum ruled that the developer’s Urban Center application was not legally vested and stopped Snohomish County from processing it further.   All interested parties are invited to come celebrate this victory and hear an update on Point Wells, hosted by the board members of Save Richmond Beach on January 8th, 2012 at the Innis Arden Clubhouse from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.

While this legal victory is certainly worthy of celebration, there is still much more to do.  As many of you know, the developer and Snohomish County have already appealed Judge Lum’s ruling.  At this meeting we will discuss the impact of the ruling, and provide our thoughts on what will likely happen next during the appeal process.

We will also provide a brief update on some recent work we have done with the City of Shoreline.

Carla Nichols, the mayor of Woodway, and Zach Hiatt, the attorney for Save Richmond Beach will be on hand to answer questions.

The meeting will be an informal event with light refreshments, coffee, and sparking cider.

Please share this information or email with all who would be interested in attending.

Thank you!

Don't forget to sign up for Membership!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing encouragement. Without the community's unwavering support we would not have been able to accomplish what we have over the last couple of years.

However, if we are going to continue our efforts we need funding. If you haven't already become a member, please do so as we rely on membership dues to pay for legal fees, and experts that advise us on transportation and environmental issues.
