Mrs. Dawson & Mr. Williams obtain National Board Certification
Our school counselor Margaret Dawson and second-grade teacher Chap Williams have obtained the advanced teaching credential from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. They earned this honor by meeting high standards through an extensive study, expert evaluation, self-assessment and peer review that took about two years to complete. This is a great accomplishment for Mrs. Dawson and Mr. Williams. Please join the PTA in congratulating them at the next meeting, Monday Dec 5 at 1:30.

Don't Hit the Panic Button, Yet.
There's still time to reserve yearbook ad space at discounted prices. The Balfour website was temporarily down, therefore, the early-bird deadline was extended to Friday, Dec 16. Follow the instructions on the Yearbook Flyer and go to www.Balfour.com or put your payment and order information in the PTA safe. Not ready to create your ad yet? No problem. Pay now and submit your ad by the final deadline, January 27, 2012. Questions? Email Dottie Day or call her at 501-707-8082. Haven't ordered a yearbook? Go to parentsatthepark.org.

Still Missing A Coat?
If so, please check in the Computer Room where Lost and Found items have been folded and placed on shelves. Remember to label your kids' outerwear. This makes it easy to return an unwittingly shed coat to its owner. Laura Reeves deserve a big thanks for taking care of our lost laundry.
